In keeping with is dedication to provide its guests with a natural haven, Vadoo Island Resort has collaborated with pioneer Ayurveda providers –Barberyn Ayurveda of Sri Lanka, to provide its guests with a new dimension of inner well being and beauty through its authentic Ayurveda program. Ayurveda is a holistic and scientific system based on a profound philosophy, leading to a long and healthy life free of illness.

The Barberyn Ayurveda Health Centre at Vadoo Island Resort provides authentic Ayurveda, through a process of purification and rejuvenation and guests can select between the three properties, Barberyn Reef Ayurveda Resort and Barberyn Beach Ayurveda Resort in Sri Lanka, and Vadoo Island Resort in the Maldives. Guests can also combine a stay in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, and enjoy the same authentic service at all three health centers. The health centre at Vadoo is operated by Barberyn staff and Barberyn Ayurveda products are used.

Food and nutrition being an important aspect of Ayurveda healing, the health centre and the kitchen work in close coordination. The healthy and wholesome food is prepared by the Vadoo chefs, who have received training in cooking Ayurveda food at the Barberyn Ayurveda Resorts in Sri Lanka.

Guests can also enjoy yoga and meditative reflection, which complements the Ayurveda treatment.
